Here are a few dishes that are still in need of perfection, along with dishes I am dying to test out!

Recipes to try

Pop Tarts:

Problem:  dough was gluten free and super crumbly (could barely hold together)... and I also learned my lesson to never use buckwheat flour in a treat as delicate and sweet as the Pop Tart!

Lemon Meringue Pie:

Problem:  crust too crumbly (but delicious!), filling too firm, meringue "weeped" and didn't stay put

Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting:

Problem:  not bright red like authentic red velvets and didn't have much flavor, frosting was too thin

Blue Blueberry Lemon Muffins:

Problem:  center was too sticky and I was hoping for a brighter blue color not faded purple

Baked Oatmeal

Cinnamon Rolls

Homemade Oreos

Homemade Nutter Butters

Homemade Animal Crackers

Death by Chocolate Cake
