Yay, my second Green Monster recipe!  And just as healthy as the last one  :)

This smoothie was smooth and creamy from the avocado, sweet from the Naked juice and stevia, and satisfying from the perfect balance between healthy fats, fiber and protein.

Green Monster #2:
(serves two)
   1 handful Spinach
one 15.2oz bottle Naked Protein Zone (or 2 cups of your favorite juice + 1 scoop protein powder)
   1 small Avocado
1 packet Amazing Grass Green Superfood (optional)
1 tbs Ground Flaxseed or Chia (optional)
   5-10 drops Stevia Extract

This recipe is meant to be a perfect, well-balanced meal.  This smoothie contains healthy fats, good carbs, and lots of fiber and protein!  So warm up your blenders people and make this right away!

  1. Yum - I love green monster smoothies! I'm a huge fan of Naked, too, but rarely get it. I love how you share the process of making recipes - it's nice to read about failures as well as successes. My kitchen's definitely full of failures, haha!

  2. First of all, this looks awesome. I tried the first one yesterday and it was really good.
I just wanted to tell you how much I really appreciate your blog. I'm at university too, and have always struggled with my weight. Within the past 4 months, I've gone from 221 pounds to a current 187. I stumbled across your blog the other day and was really inspired. I especially love the pantry staples and I'm definitely looking forward to future posts. Thanks for having an awesome blog Jessica, and thanks for helping me get healthier. ^_^

I know! Making your own recipes is really hard, especially if you're trying to make it healthy.
